Hi,

Sorry it's no help, but I'm in the same boat as you.
Hi Ray,
It looks like there is something in your site blocking our button from being able to access your site correctly. Do you have any other plugins installed and what happens when you disable them?
Many thanks
Sarah
I'm having the same issue here -
http://blog.steffanantonas.com/focusing-on-value-how-im-changing-how-i-use-twitter.htm
This post was RT'd over 100 times and the counter shows 30. I'm confused - you can see all the retweets picked up by discuss at the bottom of the post - count them - 114 in all. I use a number of plugins, but I can't think what would be blocking tweetmeme. Thoughts?
Hi There,
You will find that we don't count duplicates and we don't count tweets from private twitter accounts. Also we made an adjustment to our back end where we missed a few tweets a couple of days ago, we are slowly getting up to date with those ones now.
Many thanks
Sarah
I am having the same problem over at http://www.theplanetd.com.
The button used to count tweets and not it does not count any.
I have not added any new plugins so I am wondering what is the cause.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
Dave
Hi Dave,
I just looked at your posts and they are showing the tweets. Sometimes there can be a lag between pressing the button and the count increasing as it is dependent on the load on our servers.
Many thanks
Sarah
Hi Sarah, Thanks for the reply. But our counts are not showing up. We have had zero retweets since Oct. 27th. They are tweeting fine on twitter, but the counter is stuck at zero.
At the bottom of the post we have a count from Backtype stating how many times the post has been tweeted. Our latest post has been tweeted 21 times, but the tweetmeme button remains at zero. Here is the link.
We are going to have to take the button off because there is no sense in having a button that states zero tweets all of the time.

Cheers.

Hi Sarah. I've got the same issue. Last week my Tweet count was indeed showing, even if it was only me and a few friends RTing my posts. But now there is no number whatsoever and my old numbers have now re-set to zero.
I'd love to get this resolved but I'm kinda with Dave. If I can't get it to work properly it just clutters my page.
Oops, sorry. Here's my site with the Tweetmeme button: http://glamourbomb.com
Hi Sarah. I have this same problem. In fact, I have installed the button on three blogspot blogs with the same results... The button shows up beautifully, and it tweets beautifully, but the counters will simply not move past the 0 mark! For your info, here are the three sites: http://leivesther.blogspot.com http://rosemarysbookcorner.blogspot.com http://millionairereality.blogspot.com
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Hi Sarah,
Same with me. Could you please take a look at the following?
http://www.lifemoves.ca/alfredballblog/alfredball.html
the odd thing is that I put the same code in another blog that has retweets but its not adding to it. I'm not sure how this is working
http://www.lifemoves.ca/lifemovescablog/lifemovesca.html
Your help is much appreciated!
Please note that if you tweet from a PRIVATE twitter account or your tweets are blocked from Twitter's search we will not count your tweets. Also if you retweet the same content more than once duplicates are NOT counted.
The first tweet seen is a tweet and subsequent ones are retweets. You need retweets for the count to increase.
Also please ensure that your URL hasn't changed since you first set up the site or the URL that we count against will be different to the URL that you are showing on your site. To update the URL go to http://tweetmeme.com/ping.php and enter your url to get the update in your button URL.
Many thanks
Sarah
