The Button is showing Error.
I dont know what is causing the error, I dont think I am blacklisted ( how can i check ) and I dont think there is any redirect involved.
You have specified your links using the format:
http://www.theworriedman.com/politics/the-business-called-administering-a-nation/
Which causes a redirect to the link:
http://www.theworriedman.com/index.php/politics/the-business-called-administering-a-nation/
(note the additional "/index.php/")
You will need to change your "tweetmeme_url = " to point to that link.

You have a large quantity of video files on your front page that are extending your load time such that our button is timing out. To get the button to initialize it needs to be able to reach our servers within 5 seconds of the initial page request otherwise it shows the ?

Hi,
I have errors only in some of the tweetmeme buttons on my site. I use the official tweetmeme plugin for wordpress to show the buttons:
The first and third buttons are showing an error while other buttons are working. It would be great if someone could point out what is causing this error and how to avoid it in future.

You are using a blocked keyword in the post title. Re-name your post titles so that they don't include the word login or logins and then hit our ping service http://tweetmeme.com/ping.php and you should find it's all working again!
We do this so that people who publish login account details for other sites don't end up on our site and use it to get these sort of details out to the masses.

I took a look, it's just taking time for your site to access our servers as many of your posts have slow loading embedded content either in the posts or the sorrounding site.
It's probably worth you taking a look at your site load time and seeing where you could optimize it.

I realize that my button has an error because I opted to show a static page as my front page display...in other words, WP redirects the main URL to that page.
Is there a way around this to "trick" the button? I really do need to have that page show as my front page.

There isn't a way of "tricking" the button as far as I know as it requires the destination url not a redirect url.
You'd need to find someone who knows wordpress well enough to find out how it does those redirects and whether you can mask them or anything.

I just installed the Tweet button for Wordpress and am getting the ? also.

Any idea why? the site seems to load quick enough.

You should find that the ? in your most recent post will resolve to a number once our button has a chance to reach our site. We tend to find that the ? stays around a while particularly on video content posts. You don't need to change anything just wait.

It has video content on home but pages 2 and 3 don't and still get the ?. Do I also need to wait or is it another problem.

what could cause the error on the [ ? Retweet ]
the url does not have the index.php in it as is mentioned before in the thread.
