What is TweetMeme?

TweetMeme is an aggregation service that aggregates the links that public Twitter users retweet and displays them on http://tweetmeme.com. TweetMeme also provides it’s users the ability to add the TweetMeme retweet button to their site to make it easy for their readers to retweet the content from that site. TweetMeme also offers analytics services, custom channel creation and advertising opportunities.

The thumbnail for my domain is out of date

We use the excellent Thumbshots service to render domain thumbnails. If yours is out of date, you can queue it to be regenerated using the Thumbshots Update Service (you will need to create a free account for this).

The thumbnail & my user profile are out of date

We regularly request updates for user profiles on a regular basis, however from time to time users wish for this update to happen quicker than we would usually check. As such we have our ping service which will force an update within 24 hours. For this please follow this link and submit the link to your profile on Twitter.

The story information for my story is out of date

We regularly request updates for stories on a regular basis, however from time to time users update their story title and this is not picked up immediately. As such we have our ping service which will force an update within 24 hours. For this please follow this link and submit the link to your story. If the story has already been requested recently for update then it will already be queued for processing. Please note that if you are using our Wordpress Plugin this is done automatically and as such should not be required.
